Not sure whether to say yum or yuck to this. It’s hasn’t got the analogue aesthetic flavor of their Micro Korg XL but could be a nasty little weapon if used right. Korg boasts 5 types of sampling, 14 voice polyphony & 64,000 note sampler and an option to back your samples up instantly via USB connection; hardly features of the average audio toy.
Peep the tutorial, it begins a little slow and is actually displayed in Japanese, but for heads with patience, the Microsampler’s capabilities start speaking to me right at 6:32. It’s dope that Korg has begun to integrate vocal, live, and production capabilities into one unit. Hello 2010.
